A mailing list is a list of addresses you or your company would use to send specific types of email messages to multiple recipients at a time. A popular use of mailing lists is for Newsletters or Product/Service updates.
Hosting clients will have access to mailing lists in our bespoke control panel – check your plan details. You will have the ability to create, modify or delete mailing lists.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that all the email recipients are subscribed to a the mailing list before sending a mass mailing.
The mailing list allows a single email to be sent to multiple recipients at a time. For the recipients to receive the email, they have to be subscribed to the mailing list.
In the Control Panel got to Email => Mailing Lists =>“Create A New Mailing List” button. When the new window appears, follow these steps:
Finally click on Create a Mailing List and your new mailing list will be successfully activated!
To subscribe to your mailing list, each recipient has to send an email to [email protected] with a blank subject and the following text in the message body: subscribe [email protected] my@email_address.com
A more detailed message with additional instructions will be received and once subscribed the recipient will get an introductory message that contains list policies and features.
Note: These instructions apply to those hosting through either HostFraser.com or EcoCPanel.com but are also applicable to any other platform utilising the Majordomo Mailing software.
